STBBQ Proudly Adopts the Lady Angels Basketball Team!
With the help of head Coach Dwight Berry, Sam Taylor's Bar-B-Q & Catering(TM) adopted the Denver East High School Lady's Angels Varsity Girl's Basketball team, for the 2009 - 2010 school year. Team Taylor will assist the Lady Angel's in their fundraising efforts among other activities. The Lady Angels will host a fundraising community carwash at Sam Taylor's Bar-B--Q & Catering on August 29, 2009. The goal is raise funds for the teams practice uniforms.
Denver Active 20-30 Childrens Foundation
18th Annual Brokers Benefitting Kids

Sam Taylor's Bar-B-Q & Catering will be joining approximately 400 commercial real estate industry participants on Saturday, August 22, 2009, to raise money for the Denver Active 20-30 Childrens Foundation; at the 18th Annual Brokers Benefitting Kids, which is held at Inversness Park. STBBQ will be providing lots of barbeque to help the DA2030 raise money, for their continued metro Denver community philanthropy!!!!

Perfectly seasoned Mississippi style barbeque accompanied by a traditional Mexican style beer is a great flavor combination that everyone craves after just one pairing. Nothing goes better with Bar-B-Q than beer! Why not pair a domestically brewed import style beer with artisan style que. It just makes sense!
Del Norte Brewing Company is the only U.S. brewer specializing in Mexican-style beers. Brewed locally; in small batches with traditional ingredients, our beers capture the styles and flavor of the oldest brewing heritage in the Western Hemisphere.
Órale is a Mexican-style lager (cerveza clara), lightly-hopped, full-bodied, and has a slight sweetness that perfectly complements the rich flavors of Mexico’s cuisines.

Team Bios
Bio – Jayna
Jayna (Taylor) Langford graduated from Norfolk State University in 1996, with her Communications Degree. As co-Vice President of the Taylor Group; parent company to Sam Taylor’s Bar-B-Q and Catering, Langford is responsible for the Financials and Accounting of the company. Langford has also run the daily Front of the House operations of Sam Taylor’s Bar-B-Q, since 1998.
Growing up in Denver CO, Langford is a ‘91 alum of Denver East High School. Initially starting her career in Norfolk VA, she spent two years working as a Speech Pathologist for a local Head Start program. Langford joined the family business in mid-1998, at the encouragement of her parents, Sam and Jennifer.
Langford and her husband, Jevon, the proud parents of daughter Zoriah are expecting their second child in the summer of 2009. Besides keeping her growing family organized. Actively involved in the family “sport” of golf, Langford also enjoys traveling in her free time.
Bio – Sam
As long time Denver restaurateur Sam Taylor, proudly enters his third decade on the Denver dining scene, he has lots to reflect on. Always the entrepreneur, Taylor started his now growing, Taylor Group enterprise, with his Chicago Big Weenee hot dog cart in 1980. Taylor and his wife, Jennifer have served Sam Taylor’s Bar-B-Q to world leaders including; the Summit of Eight; athletes, celebrities, politicians, and loyal everyday Joe’s - customers who patronize Sam Taylor’s Bar-B-Q weekly. Taylor personally greets every customer and seems to remember everyone’s name. .
Born in Mississippi, Taylor was raised on the west side of Chicago. Upon graduating from Wells High School, Taylor earned his BA from University of Northern Colorado, as well as his MA, in 1977. Armed with a degree in Rehab Psychology, Taylor worked for the State of Colorado for 3 years, before starting his own business in 1980. Taylor managed the operations at City Park Golf Course from 1986 through 1996. Creating Sam Taylor’s Bar-B-Q in 1997, he never looked back.
Taylor and his wife of three decades, Jennifer are the proud parents of two children, Jayna and Seth; who both work in the family business, and grandparents of one grand daughter, who attends a school for the gifted in Denver. Taylor’s hobbies include; photography, antique cars and golf.
Bio – Jennifer
Jennifer Taylor was born and raised in Chicago. Taylor received both her BS and MS degrees from the University of Northern Colorado. Taylor’s first career was spent at the State of Colorado, where she worked 30 years before retiring 2000. Working as a Rehab Psychologist Supervisor, Taylor managed 3 district rehab offices, a staff of 35 and was responsible for annual fiscal budget of $1M+. Taylor also managed many of the challenges associated with an agency while helping her husband, Sam build the Taylor Group.
Joining the Taylor Group full time in 2000, as Senior VP, Taylor oversees Marketing & day–to–day corporate administration. Taylor is the vision behind the food, atmosphere and flavor of Sam Taylor’s Bar-B-Q. Never one to sit around, 30 years after completing her MS degree, Taylor earned her 3rd degree in photography.
Taylor whose hobbies include travel, reading and grand parenting, is the proud mother of a Jayna (Jevon) and Seth, as well as grandmother to Zoriah.
Bio – Seth
Born and raised in Denver CO, Seth Taylor graduated from J.K. Mullen High School, in 1996 before heading to Hampton University; to study Business Administration. Upon graduation in 2000, Taylor joined the Taylor Group as a manager. Taylor has spent his professional career, developing and building Sam Taylor’s Bar-B-Q. Taylor took the lead to build and manage the burgeoning catering side of the business, which is now a full stand alone entity within the Taylor Group holding.
Taylor began building his real estate portfolio, in 2002 when he purchased, flipped and sold his first home. Taylor has also been instrumental in the acquisition, design and development of the commercial real estate that will become part of Sam Taylor’s Express. Taylor joined his sister Jayna, as co-Vice President of the Taylor Group, in 2004.
Taylor’s first passion is travel, both domestic and international. An avid golfer Taylor received a full collegiate scholarship, whereby he perfected his game
